About Us

At Community Compost Solutions, our mission is to create nutrient rich soil by diverting food waste and organic materials from landfills.

Our team is led by a long time community activist and award winning sustainability champion, Graham Ellis, who has a passion for creating compost. We believe that composting is the key to creating a sustainable and healthy environment. Our services are designed to help individuals, businesses, and communities reduce their carbon footprint and make a positive impact on the planet.

"I'm a long-time community activist and sustainability champion passionate about creating compost. I founded a sustainable community project in Hawaii where I planted over 200 diverse fruit trees as part of an agroforestry development. Located on Lava Rock, I spent thirty years learning the art of creating soil from local resources. Here in Rye, I’m dedicated to sharing my knowledge and enthusiasm with anyone and helping create Zero Waste events and townships."

When not doing any of the above, I love to turn my prized compost pile to rejuvenate my perennial beds!"
